We met up with my father for a weekend in Grayton Beach, Florida. It was too short as the girls don't see nearly enough of their grandparents, but we packed it full of fun. We spent our last day on the beach digging in the sand, and that's where I took this picture of Adelaide running int he surf.
When Adelaide was an infant and toddler, I tended to hover over her -- keeping her away from "big" kids and making sure I was there to catch her when she took a dive off the slide. I've since learned to back away a bit, and this picture is proof of how brightly she shines when she is let loose.
